The Great First District of the Department of Ohio

The American Legion First District is a community of local veterans serving veterans. Made up of posts across our region, we are committed to supporting those who have worn the uniform—whether that means helping navigate VA benefits, providing a strong network of camaraderie, or being there in times of need.
Our members live and serve right here in our communities, continuing their commitment long after their military service ends. From honoring our fellow veterans to assisting their families and advocating for their well-being, the First District stands as a trusted local resource and a voice for those who served.
Through connection, support, and shared experience, we remain dedicated to ensuring no veteran is forgotten and every veteran has a place to turn.
